From the spring of 2019 to the summer of 2020, I was doing research under the guidance of Dr. Robertson and Dr. Maiti. Started by dealing with 55 raw 3D geometries of intracranial aneurysms and learned related software. I used Dr. Maiti’s custom finite element analysis code to compute various properties of aneurysm walls. Data from those computational results were collected and processed by my own codes. Based on this database, research in different directions was conducted.

The poster presented at the BMES meeting in 2019 shows that the top part of the aneurysm tends to form a bleb, which is a pathological enlargement on the aneurysm wall. More findings will be updated when they are published.
